Fabric Requirements
Fabric requirements are calculated to limit waste and get the most efficient use of the yardage or precuts. They do not account for directional fabric or pattern matching.
The ‘Colors’ fabric requirements list the minimum number of precuts or yardage pieces you need to make the gift blocks. This is the least wasteful option. If you want more variety in color and prints, you can add additional precuts, but keep in mind this will produce more waste.
The background is made using yardage for both patterns in both variants.
